Who is David Hillenbrand?

David Hillenbrand is an American writer, director, and composer. He often collaborates with his brother Scott Hillenbrand on projects. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America. He is a director whose movies include Hostile Takover, King Cobra, Demon Island, National Lampoon Presents Dorm Daze, Gamebox 1.0, Dorm Daze 2, and Transylmania. The Hillenbrands also produced the theatrical stage show “Adrift” in Los Angeles in 1991 which was based on the best-selling novel of the same name. In addition to his active career as a film director and producer, David Hillenbrand has had an active music career in film and television. He served as the music coordinator, either for multiple television episodes or the entire television series, for Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, X-Men, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Spacecats, Blindfold: Acts of Obsession, Sweet Valley High, Video Power and Tracks of a Killer.

In 2012 he directed Deadtime Stories: Grave Secrets, a film starring Diane Ladd and Jennifer Stone based on the popular children's book titles of the same name, written by Annette and Gina Cascone.
