Who is David Minet, Jr.?

David Minet, Jr. is an actor and police detective currently employed by the Westchester County Department of Public Safety. Detective Minet is most widely recognized for his appearances on NBC's Law & Order, Law and Order: SVU and A&E's Dog the Bounty Hunter.

Minet applied to and was hired by the Westchester County Department of Public Safety. Minet's supervisors sent him to the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA for special training in recognizing child pornography, profiling likely sex offenders and ninjitsu for law enforcement. Minet quickly put these specialized skills to work, cracking the largest child pornography ring in Westchester County history. He was soon sought after as a legal expert and consultant - jobs that would eventually lead to roles in the Law and Order Series and three episodes of Dog the Bounty Hunter.
