David Reader

Who is David Reader?

David Reader is a Dutch journalist and columnist.

Reader was born in Leiden. He has a Bachelor degree in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam and spend some years in New York City where he worked as a sales representative for the company Debragga and Spitler Inc. In the year 2003 he came back to the Netherlands, where he joined the master program in Journalism at the University of Groningen. Reader is now a freelance journalist who is mainly focussing on the Dutch craft industry.

As a columnist Reader often writes about craftsmanship and the use of crafts in modern society. His columns are published in 'Het blauwe boekje' and 'Excellent Business Magazine'.
