Who is David Vieau?

Dave Vieau joined A123Systems within 3 months of the company’s initial financing and brings more than thirty years of experience in high technology and component businesses. Dave has extensive expertise in successfully leading rapidly growing companies through all stages of development.

Prior to joining A123Systems as President and CEO, Dave was at American Power Conversion [nasdaq: APCC] where he held different corporate officer positions including VP of Marketing and VP of Worldwide Business Development. During Dave’s nine years at APCC, the company grew from $50MM to $1.5B becoming the world leader in power protection for PC and IS markets and employing 6000 globally. APC was ranked 12th nationally for shareholder return on investment in the decade of the 90’s. Prior to APC, Dave was a co-founder and President of Poly-Flex Circuits, a leading designer and producer of flexible circuit assemblies utilizing Polymer Thick Film (PTF) technology. Dave brings over 30 years of experience managing high technology and component businesses.
