Who is Deborah J. Stipek?
Deborah J. Stipek was the dean of the Stanford Graduate School of Education. She was appointed dean in 2001 and held that position through 2011. Prior to that, she was a professor at the Graduate School of Education, University of California, Los Angeles, from 1977 to 2000. Stipek was also a Congressional Science Fellow, Society for Research in Child Development from 1983 to 1984.
Stipek holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Yale University and a BS in Psychology from the University of Washington.
Stipek is currently a professor at the Stanford Graduate School of Education.
