Who is Deirdre O'Shaughnessy?
Deirdre O'Shaughnessy is editor of The Opinion Line radio show on Corks 96FM presented by PJ Coogan. Up until April 2014 she was editor of the Cork Independent, Cork's largest circulating free weekly newspaper. She took up the position in July 2009, coming from the Galway Independent, where she was Deputy Editor. She has also been a contributor to the Limerick Independent and been editor of the University of Limerick student newspaper, An Focal. Her work has been published in the Irish Times, Irish Examiner, Irish Independent, Irish Daily Mail, Irish Sun, Irish Mirror, Irish Daily Star, and she is a regular radio contributor.
