Who is Deji Akindele?
Akindele Jeleel Ayodeji is a Nigerian professional basketball player. In Yoruba, Akindele means "conquering warrior returns home". He is currently playing for Herbalife Gran Canaria of the Spanish League. He was also part of the Nigeria national basketball team, and represented Nigeria at the 2007 and 2009 African Championships, averaging 8.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game.
