Who is Del Rodgers?
Rodrick Del Rodgers, is a former professional American football player who was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the 3rd round of the 1982 NFL Draft. A 5'11" running back-kickoff returner from the University of Utah, Rodgers was the first thousand yard rusher in Utes history.
Rodgers is currently the sports director/anchor at NBC affiliate KCRA-TV in Sacramento, California.
He coached his oldest daughter's high school powderpuff team to four consecutive wins, being the only powderpuff team in Franklin High School history to remain undefeated champions. This accomplishment made him the most successful "coach" among Sacramento media personalities.
