Who is Deron Williams?

Deron Michael Williams is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. In addition to the Nets, he has played for the Utah Jazz and Beşiktaş of the Turkish Basketball League. Williams was drafted 3rd overall in the 2005 draft by the Utah Jazz, for whom he played before being traded in the middle of his sixth season to the Nets. He is a three-time All-Star and was a gold medal winner at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics.

Williams played college basketball at the University of Illinois.
