Who is Dick Nen?
Richard Le Roy Nen is a former Major League Baseball first baseman. He is the father of former major league reliever Robb Nen.
Nen played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Washington Senators and the Chicago Cubs. His major league debut was September 18, 1963 with the Los Angeles Dodgers. As a pinch hitter in the top of the ninth inning against the St. Louis Cardinals, he hit a key, game-tying home run that eventually resulted in a three-game Dodger sweep over the Cardinals.
