Who is Dick Tomey?
Richard Hastings "Dick" Tomey is an American football coach and former player. Tomey has served as the head football coach at Hawaii, the University of Arizona, and San Jose State University, compiling a career college football record of 183–145–7. His last full-time coaching position was as the special teams coach at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2011 under head coach Greg McMackin, who resigned after the season. Tomey was not retained by McMackin's successor, Norm Chow. Tomey served as a head coach of the victorious West team in the Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game on January 11, 2013 at Kino Stadium in Arizona.
