Who was Dietmar Rosenthal?

Dietmar Elyashevich Rosenthal was a Russian linguist.

He created several Russian-Italian and Italian-Russian dictionaries and translated the works of Italian writers into Russian. Together with Prof. Bylinsky he introduced the practical stylistics. He is most famous for the creation of multiple guidebooks, learnbooks, dictionaries etc. of Russian language.
