Who is Djoko Iskandar?
Djoko T. Iskandar is an Indonesian zoologist. He is a professor of biosystematics and ecology at Institut Teknologi Bandung, a university located in Bandung, Indonesia.
In 1978, he was the first to describe the Bornean Flat-headed Frog.
He is also interested in Limnonectes, a genus of true frogs.
He is the author of The Amphibians of Java and Bali, ISBN 979-579-014-5.
The monotypic banded watersnake genus Djokoiskandarus Murphy, 2011 is named in his honour.
