Who is Dónal Clifford?
Donal Clifford is an Irish retired hurler who played as a right wing-back for the Cork senior team.
Clifford joined the team during the 1968-69 National League and was a regular member of the starting fifteen until his retirement after the 1973 championship. During that time he won one All-Ireland medal, two Munster medals and two National Hurling League medals. Clifford was an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion.
At club level Clifford was a one-time All-Ireland medalist with Glen Rovers. In addition to this he has also won one Munster medal and one county club championship medal.
