Who is Donnie Tyndall?

Donnie Tyndall is an American college basketball coach and the current head men's basketball coach at the University of Tennessee. Prior to his introduction as Tennessee's head coach on April 22, 2014, Tyndall was the head coach at the University of Southern Mississippi. Tyndall also served as head coach at his alma mater, Morehead State University, from 2006-2012—his first Division I head coaching job.

His teams are known for pressing and playing an unconventional match-up zone, a highly successful variation of the defensive system employed by coach Rick Pitino at Louisville.
