Who is Drake Doremus?
Drake Doremus is a film director and screenwriter best known for directing the films Like Crazy which won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, Douchebag which was in Dramatic competition at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, and Spooner. Doremus studied directing at the American Film Institute, being the youngest fellow ever accepted into the AFI Conservatory.
Doremus also taught at the Orange County High School of the Arts for a couple of semesters.
His 2011 film Like Crazy has been described as loosely inspired by his real life experiences. In June 2013, his new film Breathe In opened the Edinburgh International Film Festival EIFF.
