Who is Dustin Cherniawski?

Dustin Cherniawski is a former professional Canadian football free safety who played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. Cherniawski played collegiately at the University of British Columbia and was drafted by Saskatchewan in the 2005 CFL Draft.

In 2005, he dressed in a total of 8 games as a backup defensive back and special teams player. In 2006, he dressed in a total of 9 games and was second on the team with 8 special teams tackles. On May 27, 2008, he announced his retirement from the CFL to focus on his career outside of the game.

While playing for the UBC Thunderbirds, he graduated from UBC with a diploma in comms.

Prior to university he played for the Edmonton Huskies of the Canadian Junior Football League.
