Who was Earl Hofmann?
Earl Hofmann March 11 1928 -September 29, 1992 was one of Baltimore's realist artists who studied with and assisted Jacques Maroger at the Maryland Institute College of Art. He was a major part of the Baltimore art scene of the mid-20th century. Hofmann also taught at the Maryland Institute College of Art, and Saint Mary's College in Saint Mary's City, Maryland.
