Who is Ed Sullivan, Jr.?

Ed Sullivan, Jr. is a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 51st district since 2003.

After receiving a B.A. in History and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois in 1991, Sullivan served as an aide to U.S. Congressman Phil Crane. In 1993, he was elected to the first of five terms as the Fremont Township Assessor.

In April 2013, Rep. Sullivan became the second Republican representative in Illinois to support the state's same-sex marriage bill.
