Who was Edith Simon?
Edith Simon was a British artist, author, sculptor and historian active mainly in Edinburgh.
Born in Berlin, Germany, she learnt English at the age of 14 when her parents moved to Britain. She was a prolific artist, inventing a unique papercutting technique. She also wrote many fiction and non-fiction books.
