Edmund Załęski was a Polish chemist, agrotechnician, plant breeder. He was a professor of Agricultural University of Dublany, professor and rector of Jagiellonian University.
Załęski created new, valuable varieties of wheat and sugar beet. Author of Metodyka doświadczeń rolniczych [Methodology of agricultural experiments].
