Who is Edvin Vesterby?
Edvin Vesterby is a former Swedish wrestler. He won an Olympic silver medal in Greco-Roman wrestling in 1956, and also competed at the 1952 and 1960 Olympics.
He was born in Riguldi Parish, Lääne County, Estonia into an Estonian Swede family. In 1944 he emigrated to Sweden. He started sporting under Robert Oks in 1946 in Stockholm.
