Edward Donahue was the head football coach at Clemson from 1917 to 1920. His record stands at 21-12-3. He also served as the school's basketball and baseball coach, as well as the track coach. He was an alumnus of Washington and Lee College where he played basketball and baseball. He later went on to serve as the school's basketball, baseball, and football coach.
