Who was Egill Reimers?

Egill Reimers was a Norwegian architect and sailor who competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics.

He was a crew member of the Norwegian boat Heira II, which won the gold medal in the 12 metre class.

His buildings include several for the University of Bergen including De kulturhistoriske samlinger in 1927, the Geofysisk Institutt in 1928, and the Kjernefysisk laboratorium in 1950.
