Who was Elena Caragiani-Stoenescu?
Elena Caragiani-Stoenescu is the first woman aviator in Romania.
Her first flight occurred in 1912, accompanied by her horse riding instructor Mircea Zorileanu, and her no 1591 license was achieved from the International Aeronautical Federation, in 1914, in France.
