Who is Elena Novikova-Belova?
Elena Novikova-Belova is a Soviet fencer and four times Olympic champion in foil competitions.
She received four gold medals, one silver and one bronze medal in the foil at the Summer Olympics from 1968 to 1980.
On 17 May 2007, Professor Belova was awarded by the International Olympic Committee the Pierre de Coubertin Medal for Sportsmanship.
