Who is "Eli Wong"?
Elizabeth "Eli" Wong is a prominent former Malaysian opposition politician. She offered her resignation after naked photos of her were circulated to the media. The photos were reportedly taken by an ex-boyfriend.
One of Malaysia's pre-eminent human rights activists, Wong credited "gutter politics" for the images' release, which allegedly depict her resting in her own bedroom.
Ms Wong, a bespectacled, single 37-year-old, is a noted member of the Keadilan party, whose leader Anwar Ibrahim, steers the three-member Pakatan Rakyat opposition alliance.
