Who is Elia Gourgouris?

Elia Gourgouris is a self-proclaimed expert on successful marriages.

Gourgouris is a native of Greece. He has a Ph.D. in psychology and graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles. Gourgouris is a Latter-day Saint. He writes a weekly column in the Mormon Times and also is the president of LDSCoaching.com.

CDs of talks by Gourgouris entitled Multi-Platinum Marriage: Going from Surviving to Thriving and DTR: What You Should Know Before You Get Married. He also writes an advice column for LDS Living magazine. Gourgouris has also given presentations on such topics as "self-esteem for the military spouse".

Gourgouris serves on the board of trustees of Superior, Colorado.

Gourgouris and his wife Sona are the parents of two children Nicholas and Dimitri.
