Who is Elisabeth Axmann?
Elizabeth Axmann is a Romanian-German poet.
Axmann spent her childhood in Bukovina, Moldavia and Transylvania. She worked in several places until she started to attend the university in Sibiu in 1947. In 1954, she went to Bucharest. She has worked as a language assistant, a critic and a translator. She currently lives in Germany and writes in the German language.
