Who is Elisabeth Micheler-Jones?
Elisabeth Micheler-Jones is a West German-German slalom canoer who competed from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, she won a gold medal in the K-1 event in Barcelona in 1992.
Micheler-Jones also won four medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with two golds and two bronzes. She also has a silver from K-1 team event at the 1996 European Championships in Augsburg.
Her husband, Melvyn of Great Britain, finished seventh in the K-1 event at the 1992 Summer Olympics.
