Who is Elise Finch?

Elise Finch is an African American news journalist and currently a weekend weather anchor for WCBS-TV in New York City. She was a weathercaster at NBC's national forecasting service 'NBC Weather Plus' from December 2004 to December 2006 and also worked for MSNBC. Before that she was at KAAL in Austin, Minnesota and also reported the weather in Youngstown, Ohio. She worked as a Meteorologist at CBS affiliate KPHO Channel 5 in Phoenix, Arizona.

She was born and grew up in Mount Vernon, New York. She is a graduate of Georgetown University, has a master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University and her certification in Broadcast Meteorology is from the Mississippi State University.

During the mornings, she also was the chief weathercaster for the NBC show Early Today. Elise Finch's last day with NBC Weather Plus as well as MSNBC was December 1, 2006ยท.
