Who is Liz Astor?
Elizabeth Constance "Liz" Mackintosh is an English author and autism activist. She is the second wife of Baron John Jacob Astor VIII.
Her parents are John Mackintosh and Bronda Fibigor. She has a full sister named Diana, and a half-brother named Charles from Bronda's second marriage.
Liz Astor worked as a head hunter before her marriage to Baron Astor. She is the author of a novel Since You Went Away, and raises funds for the Parkinsons UK and the National Autism Society.
She has been married three times, firstly to Timothy Cutting and secondly to Nicholas Chagrin before her marriage in 1990 to Baron Astor.
She and Baron Astor have two children:
Charles Gavin John Astor
Charlotte Olivia Alexandra Elizabeth Astor.
From her marriage to Chagrin, she also has a daughter named Natalya. Liz Astor's book Loving Olivia: Bringing Up My Autistic Daughter recounts her experience with Olivia's autism.
