Who is Ellen Brockhöft?

Ellen Brockhöft was a German figure skater. She won three national titles and twice captured the silver medal in ladies' singles at the World Figure Skating Championships. She also participated in the 1928 Winter Olympics, where she placed ninth in the Women's figure skating competition. She retired from amateur sport in 1929 and became coach in St. Moritz. During her skating career she claimed to be younger believing this would support her skating career.
