Who is Ellen S. Miller?

Ellen S. Miller an American political activist with extensive work in the fields of politics and money. As an advocate for Open Government, Miller promotes the use of technology to increase transparency in government, and co-founded both the Sunlight Foundation as well as its sister organization, Sunlight Network with Michael Klein in 2006 to foster these goals. Currently she serves as the Executive Director of the Sunlight Foundation as well as the Secretary and Treasurer of the Board of Directors. She also sits on the board of directors of the Center for Responsive Politics, for which she was also the founding Executive Director from 1984 to 1996. In 1996 she founded the Public Campaign. And more recently, she held the position of Deputy Director for the Campaign for America's Future and directed the Project for an Accountable Congress.
