Who was Emery J. San Souci?
Emery John San Souci was the Lieutenant Governor of Rhode Island from 1915 to 1921 and 53rd Governor of the state from 1921 to 1923. Based in Providence, Rhode Island as a politician, San Souci was born in Saco, Maine and ultimately buried in Hartford, Connecticut at Mount Saint Benedict's Cemetery. San Souci was a Franco-American, an American of French-Canadian descent.
