Who is Emin Yaslicam?

After graduated from the Ankara State Conservatoire Higher section of the Violin Studies in 1975, he was orchestral musician for two years in the Ankara State Orchestra, then he continued his orchestral conducting and composition studies by acquiring a scholarship for four years from Italian State, he graduated from orchestral conducting and composition section Santa Cecilia Conservatoire where he had studied under Armanda Renzi, Teresa Procaccini, Bruno Aprea and Franco Ferrara by being first in the graduation. He specialised in conducting under George Hueres at the Canford Summer School in London and under Ceribidacci in Munich. He also followed summer courses under Franco Ferrara at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, which he completed with the award of a diploma of honour. He was chosen the most successful young orchestra conductor of the year by the Centro Internazionale Foyer Des Artistes in 1983 October in Roma and presented with the Gold Medal. For four years until 1985, he was principal conductor of the Filarmonici Romani Orchestra, of which he was one of the founders of this orchestra. In 1987 he conducted the San Remo Symphony Orchestra in the first performance for two hundred years of G. Paisiello’s Six Minuets. He was the principal conductor of the Lecce Symphony Orchestra between 1986 and 1989. He was conducted concerts almost in all of the countries around Europe, he was conducted Nüvid Kodallı’s Cello Concerto with Prof Ali Doğan and Polish Opole Orchestra in 1987, made a record of plaque with this concerto and Beethoven 2nd Symphony, furthermore he realized in CD form of Italian contemporary composer Marino Cesa’s scores. He was awarded the Verberia diploma of honour in 1991 for his having been invited on twenty-four occasions to act as jury member at distinguished musical competitions such as the Scarlatti, Bellini, Senegalia, Averesa, Naples and Paganini competitions. He is the permanent conductor and the General art director of the Avellino Symphony Orchestra in Italy and of the Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra in Turkey. Besides he is the Foreign Guest Conductor of the Argentina, Mexico, Cairo and Brasil Symphony Orchestras’ since 1997.He conducted 2002 aprıl wıener senfonıe orchester ın vıenna.
