Who was Erasmus D. Campbell?
Erasmus Daniel Campbell, was a Wisconsin politician. In 1857, he became mayor of La Crosse, Wisconsin. The Town of Campbell in La Crosse County, Wisconsin was named after E.D. Campbell. Erasmus Campbell was the sixth Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin from 1858 to 1860.
