Who was Ergilio Hato?
Ergilio Pedro Hato, also known as 'Pantera Negra', was a legendary goalkeeper, who also played as a Forward, from Curaçao and the Caribbean football in the former Netherlands Antilles. Although he was well known in the Caribbean and beyond, he refused to become a professional football player. The Ergilio Hato Stadium in Willemstad, Curaçao was named after him. He scored three goals in his career.
