Who is Eric Breuer?
Eric Breuer is a Swiss archaeologist and historian.
He studied archaeology and history at the Universities of Munich, Vienna, Fribourg and Basel. He discovered the Roman vicus of Eriskirch, and conducted widespread research on early Medieval archaeology, archaeology of Roman provinces, Avar archaeology, and Mediterranean history. His main interest was the relative chronology of Roman and early medieval times.
