Who was Eric Crankshaw?

Eric Crankshaw was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played for Gloucestershire. He was born in Over Peover and died in Reading.

Crankshaw made a single first-class appearance for the side, during the 1909 season, against Surrey. From the upper-middle order, he scored a single run in the first innings, and a single run in the second.

Crankshaw's brother-in-law, John Ireland, made 28 first-class appearances between 1908 and 1912.
