Who is Eric Eady?
Eric Eady was a British meteorology researcher and author of the Eady Model of baroclinic instability, which give rise to weather systems. Eady received a BSc in mathematics and in 1937 he become a weather forecaster in the UK Meteorological Office. In 1946 he started a PhD in mathematics at the Imperial College. His thesis was about 'The theory of development in dynamical meteorology'.
