Who is Eric O'Flaherty?

Eric George O'Flaherty is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball. He has previously played in MLB for the Seattle Mariners and Atlanta Braves.

O'Flaherty was the first reliever in MLB to record a sub-1.00 ERA with at least 70 appearances in a season, and was the first pitcher in Mariners franchise history to begin his MLB career with seven consecutive wins.
