Who is Eric Shinseki?
Eric Ken Shinseki is a retired United States Army four-star general who has served as the seventh United States Secretary of Veterans Affairs since 2009. His final U.S. Army post was as the 34th Chief of Staff of the Army. He is a veteran of combat in the Vietnam War, where he sustained a foot injury.
