Who is Éric Struelens?
Éric Struelens is a former Belgian basketball player. Struelens won the Belgian championship 7 times and the Belgian Cup 4 times. He also won twice the Player of the Year award in Belgium. Struelens then moved abroad to Paris Basket Racing in France where he won 1 French championship before joining the Real Madrid Baloncesto in Spain. Struelens won the Spanish championship with Real Madrid.
Struelens was a key player in the Belgium national basketball team who reached the EuroBasket 1993 finals. This was the last time the Belgium national team managed to qualify for the finals of a major international tournament.
