Who is Erica Frank?
Erica Frank, MD, MPH is a U.S.-born educational innovator, physician, medical researcher, and public health and climate change advocate. Since 2006, she has been a Professor and Canada Research Chair in the School of Population and Public Health, and the Department of Family Practice at the University of British Columbia. Her medical specialty is Preventive Medicine, and her research emphasizes the degree to which clinicians’ positive health habits influence patients' positive health habits. Most recently, she has become known as the President and Executive Director of NextGenU.org, the world's first portal to free, accredited, higher education, including university- and graduate-level courses, which she founded in 2001.
