Who was Erik Svensson?
Erik "Spänst" Svensson was a Swedish athlete who competed mainly in the triple jump.
He competed for Sweden in the 1932 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles, California, in triple jump, where he won the silver medal, and in long jump, where he came fourth. His result in the triple jump was a new Swedish record, 15.32 meters, which would remain unbeaten until 1948
