Who is Ernest Vinberg?
Ernest Borisovich Vinberg is a Russian mathematician, who works on discrete subgroups of Lie groups and representation theory. He introduced Vinberg's algorithm and the Koecher–Vinberg theorem.
He is a recipient of the Humboldt Prize.
