Who was Ernst Nilsson?
Ernst Hilding Waldemar Nilsson was a Swedish wrestler who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics, in the 1920 Summer Olympics, and in the 1924 Summer Olympics.
In 1912 he was eliminated in the fourth round of the Greco-Roman light-heavyweight competition after losing his fight to Knut Lindberg.
Eight years later he won the bronze medal in the freestyle wrestling heavyweight class. He also participated in the Greco-Roman heavyweight competition but was eliminated in the quarter-finals after losing his fight to Jaap Sjouwerman.
At the 1924 he competed in the Greco-Roman heavyweight event as well as in the freestyle wrestling heavyweight class but was not able to win a medal.
