Who was Evert Nilsson?

Evert Reinhold Emanuel "Västervik" Nilsson was a Swedish track and field athlete who competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics and in the 1924 Summer Olympics.

In 1920 he finished fifth in the decathlon event. He also participated in the pentathlon competition. He was tenth overall but did not start in the final 1500 metres run.

Four years later he again participated in the decathlon event and in the pentathlon event but he quit both competitions after the fourth contest.
