Who is Feryal Gauhar?
Feryal Ali Gauhar is an acclaimed Pakistani actress, director, writer and human right activist from Lahore, Pakistan.
Daughter of well known social scientist and anthropologist Khadija Ali Gohar, Faryal studied in American International School, Kinnaird College Lahore and McGill University Canada. Her contributions to poverty alleviation were appreciated by the Planning Commission of Pakistan.
She was married to artist Jamal Shah; the couple is now divorced. She is also the younger sister of Madiha Gohar.
